"Home-Goods for Heroes", an initiative starting in 2024, has evolved into an ongoing initiative dedicated to supporting our local veterans as they transition into civilian life. Spearheaded by a committed group of local sponsors and businesses, this program aims to provide essential home goods to formerly homeless veterans.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have established year-round drop-off locations at Right at Home's locations:

Starting in mid-October, we will have additional drop-off locations throughout the community at participating local businesses and organizations, making it easier for you to contribute. Your support can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our veterans!

In 2024, the donated items were delivered to the veterans at the Punta Gorda Veterans Village. Our inaugural event took place on December 4, 2025, organized by representatives from the following local businesses:
